Roz~marra is a five-track Urdu-electronica collection of songs written in the last 6 years and

recorded over the last 18 months while traveling across India and Europe. The EP captures the

emotional arc of a single day, mapping the transition from the heaviness of dawn to the

acceptance of the night and embracing this constant cycle of life.

Musically, it marks a departure from SR’s cinematic singer-songwriter roots toward a mid-tempo,

dance-driven electronic sound. Deeply rooted in Urdu poetry, the project features collaborations

with Mir Kashif Iqbal (on the Faiz Ahmad Faiz-led "Lambi Shaam") and Ditty (on the title track).

Mixed by long-term collaborator Martin Merenyi in London and mastered at Manmade Mastering

in Berlin, this EP serves as the sonic inception for SR’s upcoming full-length album, Purana.
